Thailand is one of the most popular destinations for Chinese tourists. Because of its close proximity to China and its various attractions, the growth outlook of the Chinese outbound tourist business will continue to be very promising.
To align with CUP’s out-going strategy
and to capture this business opportunity, OCG Thailand
launched CUP card acceptance service in Thailand in January 2005.
Among the first international partners of CUP,
OCG Thailand
works with CUP to serve Thai merchants and
Chinese tourists. To ensure successful launch of the service,
OCG Thailand builds a
local team with the most experienced professionals in the field.
To complement OCG Thailand
local team, OCG headquarters in Hong Kong provides

CUP, Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) and OCG Thailand, OCG Thailand
is able to develop efficiently in the fast growing payment
and financial services market in Thailand.

Phuri Khamphidet
Merchant Business Director
Mr. Phuri Khamphidet is the Merchant Business Director
of OCG Thailand for acquiring Business. He takes the lead role
for the development of China Unionpay acquiring business in Thailand. He carries a strong experience in credit card business development
and marketing. For merchant acquiring business, especially, he
has more than 16 years of experience in high profile financial
institutes such as Citibank N.A. and Diners Club (Thailand) Co.,
Ltd. Before joining with OCG Thailand, Phuri managed merchant business
team of Diners Club (Thailand) Co., Ltd. His position was the
Merchant Management Manager. He holds the Bachelor’s degree in Political Science
from Ramkhamhaeng University.

Panthong Limpkittisin
Operations Controller
Mr. Panthong joined OCG Thailand in 2004 as Operations
Controller, in charge of operation process for Acquiring Business
of OCG Thailand. He has over 17 years of working experience
in Credit Card industry such as Siam Commercial Bank, Standard
Chartered Bank, Citibank and AIG Card. He has in-depth professional
knowledge in Settlement, Fraud Analysis, Chargeback, Customer
Service, Merchant Service, Card Production and Transaction Processing. He holds an MBA in General Management
from Ramkhamhaeng University in 2002.
