OCG Thailand was awarded "The Best Performance - Acquiring Business in Thailand 2007" by China Unionpay

On 27th March 2008, The Best Performance - Acquiring Partner Thailand 2007 Award was presented to Oriental City Group Thailand by China Unionpay. Mr. Phuri Khamphidet, Managing Director of OCG Thailand received the award from Mr. James Yang, Chief Representative of China, South East Asia Branch.

Mr. Philip Law, Senior Market Representative of China Unionpay introduced that Oriental City Group was the largest acquiring partner in Thailand for CUP for two consecutive years, processing over 50% of the CUP acquiring business in Thailand. Mr. Law also confirmed that OCG is the second largest CUP acquiring partner in the whole South East Asia region.

The Award Presentation Gala was held in the headquarters of China Unionpay in Shanghai on 27th March 2008. There were over 50 guests attended including senior management from China Unionpay head office and Singapore branch, and representatives of 23 award winners from Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia.
